Kurz Synopsis

This piece is, to coin a phrase from John Cage, an composed improvisation. In other words, the final score was intuitively constructed through the juxtaposition of various independent musical ideas, without any overarching structural or systematic concepts. It was inspired by the works and life of a great man and musician. May those who listen to this music be inspired and challenged, just as his words inspired and challenged me through the dark days of my youth.
